I met le Fu and Hi.D of Grimetime Berlin the other day and I got to see some footage for the Grimetime DVD. Expect big things. They filmed every little bit about Grime in Berlin and elsewehre. Remember the beautiful girl and the long tall guy on stage with their cams when everybody was having fun. That’s them. Big up.
I am now in the process of animating some graphics and typography in Flash and After Effects for the promotional trailer. I am not allowed to show you any video but i can definitely say that this DVD will burn.
And on the pic you see JME of Boy Better Know at the old WMF Sommerlager.

Currently working for Bread and Butter Berlin (special inhouse print project), Law&Order PR and shop (Creative Direction), Ingo Robin - Photography (art direction for new website), Moritz Scheible Architecture (website art direction), republish relaunch (watch out for version 3.0 and lots of user generated content), Johannes Boehncke Jewellery (print) and Anja Wiroth Management (art direction and artist representation).

In the near future you will also see a brand new collection of clothes designed all by myself. Should be finished beginning of 2007. And we are talking about serious clothes not just printed shirts.

And we just established our own server last week, which is running save and smooth. Thank you very much Torsten and Dirk.

There is more interesting projects to come which i can’t talk about yet but i will keep you updated here. Update of my works section will follow soon as well.

I helped out Movement Marketing with some Screendesigns for their client Wirecard. Had to create various screens and designs for the relaunch of Mastercard’s Wirecard Service.
Also check out Movement’s latest project Hypediss which just went online last month. A great user driven site with javascript rating system for everything regarding high end gadgets to street knowledge. Perfect place for the flexecutive in you brought to you by the owners of the only sneaker store in Berlin with a tier zero account.

Just got back from the printer with loads of boxes full of setcards. Now every artist represented by Anja Wiroth Agency has its own setcard.
The setcards come as postcard printed on 330 g/qm “Hi-Tech” paper and can be used as compliment card as well as setcard or just as plain postcard. The frontside always shows a representing picture and on the backside you’ll find all of the artist’s and Anja’s info.

Special Thanks to Prototyp Print for a very fast and as always excellent top quality job.

Now available. Font GEIST in two cuts. Download here!!

First cut is GEIST_RND, which is the round version of GEIST and is inspired by the Ghost from PAC Man and the MDRD Font from Viagrafik.

Second one is GEIST_KNT, which is literally the edgy version of GEIST_RND.

Both fonts are completely free and have no license restrictions. Use ‘em, share ‘em and spread ‘em. Tell me how you use them or send me pics of GEIST in action.

The free version of GEIST doesn’t include the small caps.
There will soon be a full version for purchase available here.
Also watch out for more fonts in the future under WORK > Typography

Big Thanks going out to Torsten Bergler once again with whom I wouldn’t have realised the Fonts.
Big Help in Font Lab. Thank You.

Once developed for the Sick Girls and her party series Revolution No.5 this one never really made it into major usage. So i will give away the small caps version for free as well.

I am right now building up the fonts as truetype and mac suit versions and then you’ll find them under “WORK” to download.

Click the pic to enjoy all letters, Wiley as outlinish vektorcharacter and the 5ive logotype.

Henrik with whom i realised the website of Watergate Club in Berlin send me a link the other day. A cheesy club in Mainz called 50grad that was.
When I saw the very obvious ripp off I wasn’t really sure wether I should be flattered or pissed. Every little bit of the watergate site is copied. Even some mistakes which i won’t tell you here. Me and some friends asked ourselves if we perhaps made a theme available for download two years ago. But the CMS was handcoded by scalp. So no themes available.
As there is no Designer mentioned and their Disclaimer is mentioning german copyright law I will then proceed the whole issue to a lawyer. G’ day

Big thanks are going out to my fellow friends and programmers Clemens Brandt and Torsten Bergler.

Without their help and vast coding knowledge you wouldn’t see this website now. It is one thing to draw some vectors and move pixels around but it is something completely different to perfectly transfer a design into ones and zeros with html, java (in nowa-web2.0-days called ajax), php and a cms (in this case Wordpress).

I am very glad that Clemens found some time to set up the website while he was finishing his diploma. And thanks to Torsten I am now able to easily post news and graphics on this shiny new blog.
The whole site is based on a simple CSS file which makes it very convenient for me to change all colours, fonts and sizes within seconds.

Torsten must also be specially thanked for his enormous patience because he always helped me out when me stupid had some silly html questions.

Sometimes design works and sometimes it doesn’t which actually just depends on your point of view because some traffic (de)signs also work perfect as canvas. In this case you’ll find no other typography on the sign as the tags of the usual suspects here in Berlin Mitte.

The website of Anja Wiroth Representation & Management is finished and can now be seen live and in full effect here.
Published in a record breaking timespan of only one week from the beginning of the first drafts to the published online version which you can enjoy now.

I developed the complete Corporate Identity for Anja Wiroth and I am now waiting for the printed portfolios, setcards, stationary and business cards.

The site has been realised with the help of Torsten Bergler and Thomas Michelbach.
Torsten managed the online project and coded all templates in html and set up the whole site. Thomas Michelbach handcoded an unbelievable CMS which makes it very easy for Mrs. Wiroth to organize every little picture and all her artists on her own. This also means way less work for us, because we don’t have to deal with all the subtitles of every picture and Anja can update everyhting by herself.

Congrats on your new business and good luck in your new office.
